JOHNSTOWN, PA – On Tuesday, August 22nd at 2:45 PM, LIFT Johnstown will honor its 16th Volunteer Spotlight Award recipient in a surprise presentation. Doug Yonker is employed by Am-Gard, a security services company based in Pittsburgh, and serves as a security guard at JWF Industries, 84 Iron Street, Johnstown, PA 15906. LIFT Johnstown is happy to promote recognition of those special citizens who exemplify all that volunteering embodies. Yonker was selected by a committee that reviews and votes on nominations submitted to LIFT by members of the community.

Their nomination reads as follows:

“As President of Laurel Highlands Historical Village, Doug Yonker has served over 20 hours a month for the past three years.
